We, the Daughters of Mary of the Immaculate Conception, having reflected on the Gospel origins and historical development of our Congregation express our most cherished beliefs in the following credal statements:

  • we believe that the source and the strength of all our endeavors is in the distinctiveness of our vocation as a Daughter of Mary of the Immaculate Conception consecrated to continue the Gospel mission of Jesus.

  • we believe in the sacredness and uniqueness of all life and we reverence the value each life expresses at every stage of life from conception to death.

  • we believe our religious family is born in the Church, of the Church and for the Church as a sign of God’s loving care and concern for His people.

  • we believe human and spiritual development are inseparable, our care of the body and of the mind is continuous with our loving attention to the spiritual in ourselves and in all whom we serve.

  • we believe that we are called to community, sharing and enriching each other so that we are beacons of hope in a darkened world where increasing fear and violence threatens the lives of all, especially the young and the elderly.

  • we believe in the richness of our cultural pluralism, where ethnic diversity and giftedness mirror God’s image, thereby ennobling all of humanity.
