In view of our most cherished beliefs and consequent upon our declaration of our Mission, we, the Daughters of Mary of the Immaculate Conception commit ourselves to:

  • defend, protect and uphold the dignity and immense value of each and every person.

  • embrace fully and completely the social doctrine of the Church that compels us to act with justice and integrity in every circumstance of our daily lives and ministries.

  • holiness of life, visible signs of God’s love for all people and credible witnesses of Gospel values.

  • accept, understand, and foster among ourselves and within our ministries the profound truths of the Second Vatican Council and the Post-Conciliar teachings of our Supreme Pontiffs.

  • follow the Holy See’s directives by working in close collaboration with laity, recognizing and developing their specific gifts and empowering them to share their talents for the enrichment of the Church.

  • effective and responsible stewardship for all that God has given in His creation so that no one is deprived of a rightful share in the resources given for the benefit of all.

Moreover, as a consequence of the above commitments, we, the Daughters of Mary of the Immaculate Conception, shall not tolerate any form of prejudice, hatred or injustice that does violence to the dignity of the person and destroys the life of our human family.
